Authorities warn of high levels of air pollution

(UTV|COLOMBO) – Authorities have warned of high air pollution levels and requested people with respiratory conditions to be cautious of the increase in dust particles in the air above Colombo.

The National Building Research Organization (NBRO) has revealed that dust particles that cause air pollution has increased by 100% over the city of Colombo.

The NBRO called on those with respiratory illnesses to take measures to protect themselves from the high levels of pollution, especially in North, West and the North Western provinces in the country.
