(UTV|COLOMBO) – The water cut is to be effected today (19) in several areas in Kandy for renovating the Arawata Water Treatment Plant in Kundasale, Kandy.
Accordingly, the water cut will be imposed from 7.00 am to 5.00 pm.
The water cut will be imposed in Digana Town, Victoria Road, Gonawala Road, Mallana Road, Menikhinna, Mahawatta and Bodhigala, the National Water Supply and Drainage Board said.
In addition, the water cut will also be experienced at Amunugama, Gunnepana, Panvila and Ahasumba.
