UTV|COLOMBO – Minister of Post, Postal Services & Muslim Religious Affairs Hon. MHA Haleem Participated as Chief Guest on the occasion of new stamp issue for Christmas at St. Anthony’s Church in Kandy.
The first stamp cover was awarded by the Hon. MHA Haleem, to the Bishop of the Central Province The Most Reverend Viyani Fernando.
At this function, the Minister awarded prizes and certificates to the winners among students who participated in the stamp competition.
Central Province Deputy Postmaster General Rajitha Senaratne, Divisional Secretary of Christian Affairs and a large number of religious leaders participated at this event.
