(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A ceremony to mark the 150th anniversary of the Ceylon Tea Industry was held on Wednesday (12) at the auditorium of the Central Bank of Sri Lanka (CBSL).
At this event, which was held under the patronage of Minister of Finance and Mass Media Mangala Samaraweera a commemorative coin in the denomination of Rs. 10, was issued.
Governor of the CBSL Dr. Indrajit Coomaraswamy and Minister Navin Dissanayake were also present on this occasion.
