(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Police Financial Crimes Investigation Division (FCID) has arrested an individual called ‘Captain Tissa’ who served as a driver to former President Mahinda Rajapaksa.
Reportedly, ‘Captain Tissa’ was arrested when he reported to FCID to record a statement in connection with several charges on Tuesday morning (13).
Colombo Chief Magistrate Lal Ranasinghe Bandara ordered to remand the suspect until June 23 when he was produced before Court last afternoon.
