(UTV|COLOMBO) – 217 Motorists have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol from 22 – 23 July, the Police stated.
A total number of 4,841 drunk drivers were arrested from 05 to 23 July.
A special island-wide operation was commenced from Friday (19), in order to apprehend drunk drivers.
