(UTV|COLOMBO) – A total number of 6,136 motorists have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol from 05 to July 29.
A special island-wide operation was commenced from last Friday (26) to apprehend drunk drivers.
Accordingly 212 drunk drivers were arrested from Sunday (28) 6.00 AM to 6.00 this morning.
