UTV | COLOMBO – Sri Lanka Navy held its annual Table Top Exercise (TTX 2017) for the second consecutive year at the Naval Dockyard in Trincomalee on 11th and 12th of this month.
Themed “Together for Safer Seas”, the TTX saw the participation of representatives of 10 stake holders including the Sri Lanka Navy, Army, Air Force, Coast Guard, Special Task Force, Police Narcotic Bureau, Disaster Management Centre, Marine Environment Protection Authority, Department of Fisheries and Aquatic Resources, and Sri Lanka Customs.
The TTX was held with the aim of providing participants an opportunity to understand each other in order to respond to varies contingencies together as partners, honing coordination, integration of capabilities, problem identification and resolution.
