(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – President Maithripala Sirisena has decided to appoint a Special Presidential Commission of Inquiry to investigate the Central Bank bond issue.
In a tweet the President said the Commission will be appointed this week.
The Head of State said the Commission will be vested with the responsibility of recommending action that should be taken.
The tweet read, “I will appoint a Special Presidential Commission of Inquiry this week to investigate the Central Bank bond issue and recommend actions”.
