(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The Police on a tip-off conducted a search operation in Kanagarayankulam, Vavuniya and recovered 13 rounds of mortar ammunition left buried in the area on Monday (03).
The search was carried out with assistance from the Special Task Force (STF) following a Court order obtained from the Vavuniya Magistrate’s Court.
The search operation will continue in Kanagarayankulam on Tuesday as well, the Police said.
