(UTV|COLOMBO) – Italy’s Ambassador to Sri Lanka Rita G. Mannella says Italy will provide the technical support needed for Sri Lanka to produce energy with waste.
The Italian Ambassador made this statement during a discussion held with Minister of Power, Energy and Business Development Ravi Karunanayake, at the subject Ministry yesterday.
The discussion also focused on the possibility of introducing a power plant which could use up to 100-300 tonnes of waste in Sri Lanka.
