(UTV|COLOMBO) – A 31-year-old individual was injured following a shooting incident at Apaladeniya Junction in Kuliyapitiya yesterday (25).
The injured, Saman Chandana alias ‘Belek Saman’, who is a resident at Gomugamuwa, Apaladeniya had been riding a motorbike when a group of unidentified persons arrived in a van and opened fire at him around 8.10 last night.
Saman was admitted to the Kuliyapitiya Hospital.
Kuliyapitiya Police are conducting further investigations into the shootout.
