(UTV|COLOMBO) – Parliamentarian Namal Rajapaksa Sunday (16) congratulate the Leader of the United National Party (UNP), Ranil Wickremesinghe being appointed as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka.
Politics aside I would like to congratulate @RW_UNP being appointed as the Prime Minister of Sri Lanka. I hope at least now he will work towards ensuring the sovereignty of this country and more so address issues of our people more than Western interests.

In a Twitter message, Rajapaksa further stated that he hopes Wickremesinghe will work towards ensuring the sovereignty of the country and address issues of the people.
