(UTV|COLOMBO) – The enhancement of afternoon thundershowers to some extent over the island is expected to continue further, particularly during 20 and 21 October, the Department of Meteorology said on Thursday (18).
Showers or thundershowers will occur at most places over the island particularly after 2.00 PM.
Showers or thundershowers may occur at several places in Northern, Western, North-Western, and Eastern coastal areas in the morning too.
Fairly heavy falls about 75 millimetres can be expected at some places, particularly in Central, Uva, and Sabaragamuwa Provinces.
