(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Heavy traffic congestion was reported in and around Colombo Fort due to a protest carried out by the Inter University Students’ Federation (IUSF) against the South Asian Institute of Technology and Medicine (SAITM), Police sources stated.
They said the Lotus Road and Bank Avenue in Colombo Fort were closed due to the protest. The motorists were advised to avoid Colombo Fort and use Baseline Road, Maradana and Borella.
