Discussions to commence direct flights from Colombo to Kathmandu

(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – A special discussion between the Nepal Ambassador in Sri Lanka Prof. Bishwambher Pyakuryal and Foreign Minister Ravi Karunanayake was held on Tuesday (13) at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

They discussed about expanding the diplomatic ties between the two countries and also commencing direct fights between Kathmandu and Colombo.

In addition, the discussions were held on the economic sphere as well and strengthening of cultural exchange programs.

Conveying his wishes to the new Foreign Minister, the Ambassador assured that they will support for the future development drive of Sri Lanka.

Minister Karunanayake in response admired the support being extended by the Government of Nepal.
