(UTV|COLOMBO) – Several mobile phones and laptops have been recovered from detainees held at the Immigration and Emigration Detention Centre in Mirihana.
A joint raid was carried out by the Police and the Special Task Force (STF) at the Detention Centre, utilised to detain foreigners arrested over Visa related violations.
During the raid, 75 mobile phones and 5 laptops were recovered.
