(UTV|COLOMBO) – Police have launched a special operation to locate the four unidentified gunmen who fled the scene after opening fire on two people in Thanamalwila on Sunday (10).
The victim, who succumbed to the injuries, has been identified as 42-year-old Suduhakuruge Sumith alias Wasantha. He was the prime suspect in a murder case that occurred four-months back.
Meanwhile, the other person who received serious injuries was admitted to the Hambantota Hospital.
