UTV | US – The lawyer appearing on behalf of Commodore, D. K. P. Dassanayake requested the court today (Feb. 08) to remove the ongoing investigations against his client from the Criminal Investigation Department (CID).
Commodore Dassanayake and several other suspects are accused of abducting and enforcing the disappearance of 11 youths during 2008/09.
The case was taken up before Colombo Fort Magistrate, Lanka Jayarathna this morning.
