UTV|COLOMBO – Renowned violinist Ruwan Weerasekera has passed away.
Reports say that he was admitted to a private hospital in Colombo after his condition worsened 4 days ago.
He had passed away at around 7 am today (28).
Ruwan could produce a quite a number of effortless enchanting Classic, Baroque and every other genre of music using his violin.
The musician was in a coma for many months due to a rare neurological disease.
