(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Two individuals have been arrested in Mulleriyawa over the possession of several forged documents, a Police officer’s uniform and a pair of handcuffs belonging to the Department of Prisons.
The arrest had been made based on a tip received by the Mulleriyawa Police, whilst the two suspects were traveling in a three wheeler.
The suspects, aged 34 and 40 years, are due to be produced before the Kaduwela Magistrate’s Court on Monday (19).
Mulleriyawa Police are conducting further investigations into the incident.
