(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Subjects mandated under the purview of new Ministries of Finance and Media, Lands and Parliamentary Reforms, and Development Affairs have been released in a gazette notice.
Accordingly, 33 institutions including the Government Information Department, State Electronic and Print Media Institutions, Treasury, Sri Lanka Customs, National Budget Department, Inland Revenue Department, Excise Department, and the Insurance Board of Sri Lanka will come under the purview of Ministry of Finance and Media.
Meanwhile, the National Lotteries Board, Development Lotteries Board, and 3 other institutions have been gazetted under the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
The Employees Trust Fund (ETF), and 2 other institutions have been handed over to the Ministry of Development Affairs.
