(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – The National Building and Research Organisation (NBRO) says if showers are experienced in the country the landslide warning issued in seven districts will remain in place.
Accordingly the landslide warning in the Rathnapura and Kegalle Districts was extended till 1.00 PM. The NBRO noted the landslide warning in the Galle, Kalutara, Matara, Hambantota and Nuwara-Eliya Districts is still in effect.
The NBRO requested citizens living in these districts to remain vigilant of possible signs of landslides.
