(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – State Minister of Finance Lakshman Yapa Abeywardana emphasised that lottery prices would remain unchanged as President Maithripala Sirisena has instructed to maintain the price of a lottery at Rs.20 without increasing it.
Lottery Sales Agents also launched a strike against the decision by the Government to increase the price of lottery tickets from Rs.20 to Rs.30 without increasing their commission.
