(UDHAYAM, GALLE) – Two persons were killed in a shooting carried out inside a Printing Press in the proximity of Hikkaduwa Divisional Secretariat Office on Tuesday afternoon (23).
The two gun-shot victims were reportedly admitted to the Karapitiya Hospital for treatment, where they succumbed to their injuries shortly after.
The victims were both revealed to be residents of Dodamduwa by the names of Thushan Dhanuddara and Sujith Himal, aged-26 and 34-years respectively.
Two assailants who arrived in a motorcycle, entered the building, and proceeded to shoot two people before fleeing the scene.
Further investigations into the shooting being carried out by the Hikkaduwa Police.
