(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – On receipt of an intelligence tip-off to the Navy, a group of naval personnel attached to the Western Naval Command in coordination with Pamunugama Police, during a search, arrested 2 suspects who were transferring 1.2 g of heroin in Pamunugama area on Wednesday (19).
A motorbike used for the heroin transportation was also taken into custody.
The apprehended suspects, motorbike and heroin were produced in the Pamunugama Police for onward investigations.
