(UTV|COLOMBO) – Parliamentarian Kumara Welgama who placed his cash deposit as an Independent candidate will not contest the presidential election.
Attorney Rajitha Kodithuwakku, a spokesman for Welgama, told reporters outside the Elections Secretariat that he would not contest the election.
