(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Department of Meteorology forecasted a high possibility for evening thundershowers over most parts of Sri Lanka today (30).
Accordingly, showers or thundershowers may occur over most parts of the island in the morning and after 2.00 this evening.
Heavy falls about 100 millimetres are likely at some places in North-Western and Central Provinces, and in Anuradhapura and Hambanthota Districts, while fairly heavy falls above 50 millimetres are likely at some places elsewhere, the Meteorology Department stated.
