(UTV|COLOMBO) – A total number of 8,488 motorists have been arrested for driving under the influence of alcohol from 05 July to 13 August.
A special island-wide operation was commenced from 05 July, in order to apprehend drunk drivers.
Accordingly 155 drunk drivers were arrested from yesterday (12) 6.00 AM to today 13, 6.00 AM.
