(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – It is reported that the Ceylon Electricity Employees Union has planned to launch an island-wide strike on Wednesday (05) in protest against the non-removal of salary anomalies and employee suppression.
Meanwhile government doctors have also decided to launch a one-day island-wide token strike on Friday (07) in protest against the Malabe Private Medical College. Accordingly this strike would be implemented from 8 a.m.
