(UTV|COLOMBO) – The Minister of Transport on Wednesday (26) stated that a Gazette Notification will be issued declaring Sri Lanka Railways (SLR) an essential service.
Railway trade unions have decided to launch a strike every Friday for 24-hours until their demands are met.
Accordingly, the trade unions will launch a strike from Thursday midnight (27) to Friday midnight (28).
