(UTV|COLOMBO) – Sri Lanka Test Cricket Captain Dimuth Karunaratne who was arrested by the Borella Police, on charges of driving under the influence of liquor and being involved in a vehicle accident, would be produced before the Court on Monday (01).
The vehicle Karunaratne was driving had collided with a three-wheeler in Borella around 5.30 on Sunday morning (31) at Kinsey Road in Borella.
The driver of the three-wheeler who sustained minor injuries has been admitted to the National Hospital in Colombo.
Karunaratne who was arrested following the accident by the Borella Police, later granted bail.
