(UTV|COLOMBO) – Speaker Karu Jayasuriya has warned Parliamentarians at the beginning of the Parliamentary session.
This was that Parliamentarians should engage in the debate from their respective seats since the Budget Committee Stage commences from today.
It has been reported during the past few days that Parliamentarians join the debate without being in their seats and the Speaker has warned Parliamentarians thus, taking this fact into consideration.
The Committee Stage debate is being held today regarding 25 expenditure heads including those of the President and the Prime Minister.
