(UDHAYAM, WASHINGTON) – The Central Intelligence Agency (CIA) and Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) launched an investigation into the release of classified CIA information by Wikileaks.
The leaked documents include information about the tools used by the CIA to hack into smartphones and smart televisions used by the public.
However, the CIA refused to verify the authenticity of the leaked documents.
Commenting on the leaks, White House Press Secretary, Sean Spicer, stated that the leaks were an attempt to ‘ undermine our country, our security and our well-being.’ (Courtesy – BBC)
