(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Five police teams were deployed to investigate into the double murder in Magala area, Deraniyagala.
The main suspect, a 19-year-old youth, has fled the area. Police have commenced investigations to arrest him.
A 45-year-old man and a 7-year-old child were hacked to death last night.

A 45-year-old man and a 7-year-old girl were hacked to death in Magala, Deraniyagala.
It is reported that a woman, the girl’s mother, was rushed to the Colombo National Hospital with critical injuries.
