(UTV|COLOMBO) – Two sluice gates of the Victoria reservoir have been opened automatically yesterday (24) due to rising water levels in the prevailing weather.
Meanwhile, 04 spill gates of the Rajanganaya reservoir, 01 spill gate of the Angamuwa reservoir, 04 spill gates of the Deduru Oya reservoir and 01 spill gate of the Kukuleganga reservoir were opened on wednesday (24).
Disaster Management Center (DMC) urges residents downstream to be vigilant.
