(UTV|COLOMBO) – The term of office of the Northern Provincial Council is end at midnight today.
Northern Province Chief Minister C. V. Wigneswaran says he will be forming a new political party under the name Tamil Makkal Koottani (TMK).
He mentioned this today (24) at a meeting of the Tamil Makkal Peravai party held in Nallur Kandaswami Kovil in Jaffna.
Wigneswaran stated that he will conduct his future political activities under the new party.
