(UTV|COLOMBO) – Showers or thundershowers will occur particularly in the Northern, Eastern, North-central, Uva and Central provinces and in the Galle and Matara districts after 2.00p.m.Fairly heavy falls above 75 mm can be expected at some places.
Showers or thundershowers will occur at several places in Sabaragamuwa province. Several spells of light showers will occur in Coastal areas of the Western and North-western provinces.
There may be temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers. General public is kindly requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning activity.
