(UTV|COLOMBO) – “Gotham” and “Shameless” scene stealer Cameron Monaghan is set to voice Superboy in the upcoming animated feature “Reign of the Supermen” from Warner Bros. Home Entertainment.
The film is a sequel to the just released “The Death of Superman” animated feature with the pair of films adapting the famed storyline from the “Superman” graphic novel series from DC Comics. Monaghan’s casting was revealed in a bonus featurette promoting ‘Reign’ which is slated for release early next year.
Set after Superman’s death, four other supermen have appeared claiming to be the resurrected Man of Steel, each with different powers and personalities. Superboy is one of those four.
