(UDHAYAM, WASHINGTON) – Sri Lankan government has been invited to the inauguration of US President-elect Donald Trump.
Sri Lankan Ambassador Mr. Prasad Kariyawasam is scheduled to attend the ceremony on behalf of the Sri Lankan government.
President-elect Donald Trump will be sworn in as the 45th President of the United States on January 20th.
Former US Presidents Jimmy Carter, Bill Clinton, George W. Bush, and Barrack Hussain Obama have confirmed their participation.
Donald Trump’s arch rival Hilary Clinton has also confirmed that she will be attending the swearing in ceremony on Friday.
