(UTV|COLOMBO) – Police Media Spokesperson, Superintendent of Police (SP), Ruwan Gunasekara stated that 188 Police Personnel have been deployed at polling centres and other election related duty in Elpitiya.
Eighteen mobile patrols have been deployed to cover both the Elpitiya and Pitigala Police Divisions, Gunasekara added.
Voting for the Pradeshiya Sabha Election in Elpitiya commenced at 7.00 this morning (11).
