(UTV|COLOMBO) – The possibility is still high for evening thundershowers over most parts of the island today.
Showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island after 2.00 p.m.
Fairly heavy falls about (75-100) mm are likely at some places in Central, Sabaragamuwa, North-central, Southern and Uva provinces and in Trincomalee, Mullaitivu and Vavuniya districts.
Showers will occur coastal areas at Western, Southern and Eastern provinces and in Puttalam and Jaffna districts in the morning too.
Misty conditions can be expected at some places in Western, Sabaragamuwa, Central and North-central provinces during the morning.
