(UTV|COLOMBO) – Two individuals who attempted to extort ransom by kidnapping an 8-year-old girl and her mother have been arrested yesterday (22).
Eight-year-old girl is studying in grade 4 at an international school in Nagoda.
The suspects, identified as residents of Dodangoda, and Kalutara, are being interrogated by the Police. A Police uniform, an air rifle, gun powder, a sword and a machete had been recovered from the suspects at the time of the arrest.
