(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – John Tory, the Mayor of Toronto, and C .V. Vigneswaran, the Chief Minister of the Northern province signed an agreement at the Auditorium of Public Library in Jaffna, stating that the City Council of Toronto will provide financial aid to Jaffna for their development projects.
The funds will be channeled to health care facilities, educational facilities and other infrastructure developments.
Chief Minister Vigneswaran added that a figure was yet to be decided.
