(UDHAYAM, COLOMBO) – Court has issued notices to President Maithripala Sirisena and Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe over the case filed against former Minister Tissa Attanayake on three charges including forging documents.
The case was taken up before the Colombo High Court.
Prime Minister Ranil Wickremesinghe has been named as the first witness while President Maithripala Sirisena has been named as the second witness in the case.
Accordingly, High Court Judge Nipun Kaluarachchi issued notice to the President and the Prime Minister once again after they failed to attend today’s court hearing.
