(UTV|COLOMBO) – During a search conducted in Muthur general area yesterday (09), Naval Personnel apprehended 2 persons with 180 grams of Kerala cannabis.
Accordingly, a group of Naval Personnel attached to the Eastern Naval Command combined with Muthur Police arrested these 2 suspects for possessing Kerala cannabis. The apprehended persons have been identified as residents of Muthur, aged-21 and 26. A motorcycle belonging to the suspects was also taken into Naval custody.
The 2 suspects along with the motorcycle and cannabis were handed over to Muthur Police for onward investigation.
