(UTV|COLOMBO) – An explosion is reported in the vicinity of the St. Anthony’s Church in Kochchikade, a short while ago (22).
The explosion had occurred when the Security Forces’ Personnel attempted to defuse the newly-discovered explosives in a vehicle.
No casualties were reported.
Meanwhile, the Police have discovered 87 low explosive detonators abandoned at the private bus stand in Bastian Mawatha in Pettah.
