(UTV|COLOMBO) – Cabinet has approved a new insurance scheme for Buddhist monks.
Minister of Buddhist Affairs and North-Western Development Gamini Jayawickrama Perera said that in the future this scheme would be implemented for representatives of other religions as well.
The cabinet also discussed at yesterday’s meeting the next line of action to be taken regarding the Surakshaa Insurance Scheme implemented in schools.
