(UTV|COLOMBO) – Chilaw High Court released the Puttalam District Parliamentarian Sanath Nishantha Perera on surety of Rs. 1 million. However, his brother Jagath Samantha Perera was further remanded till 07 June.
They were arrested for allegedly assaulting Arachchikattuwa Divisional Secretary when he was inspecting a storage facility in 2007.
