UTV | COLOMBO – Showers or thundershowers will occur over most parts of the island after 2.00 p.m.
Fairly heavy showers (about 50-75mm) can be expected particularly in Central and North-Western provinces and in Mannar and Anuradhapura districts.
A few showers are likely along the eastern coastal areas in the morning too.
Temporary localized strong winds during thundershowers are expected and the public is requested to take adequate precautions to minimize damages caused by lightning.
